North to South Opening Reception
Join Aimee Baerg and Melanie Fenton for the opening night of their first exhibition together, titled “North to South: A Journey Through the Okanagan Valley”. All are welcome! Refreshments will be provided. A quick talk about their body of work will be given by Aimee and Melanie at 6:30pm.
North to South: A Journey Through The Okanagan Valley
Emerging artists Aimee Baerg and Melanie Fenton, residing on opposite ends of the Okanagan Valley, have come together for an exhibition celebrating the uniqueness and diversity of the Okanagan landscape.
The exhibition, titled “North to South: A Journey Through the Okanagan Valley” will take the viewer on a visual journey through the diverse landscapes of the Okanagan. The original paintings will be on display at Gallery Vertigo in Vernon throughout the month of May.
Painting the West
Square Foot Show is a virtual art shows that’s fun, fast-paced, and showcases the incredible talent of emerging + established artists alike. This show, Painting the West with Julia DeBoer and Friends, will include artists from and work inspired by the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. There are 60+ artists involved, featuring work from headlining artist Julie DeBoer, an acrylic painter from Bearspaw, Alberta.
How it works:
The show goes live at exactly 5pm PST, and it is often true that many artists will sell out within the first few minutes of opening. But, don’t let that discourage you!
The sale lasts until 8 pm on the third day and there are always plenty of original pieces to choose from. Each piece (from every artist!) is $300 CAD (approx $245 USD) + shipping & handling. It couldn’t be easier to support the arts and bring a bit of creativity and joy into your home!

Artsolutely 2021
Artsolutely is an annual artisans show known for being a shopping extravaganza with quality hand-made gifts that can’t be found anywhere else! With works from over 30 local artisans, it’s a one-stop-shop offering something for everyone: pottery, paintings, glass art, jewellery, metal and wood work, fabric arts, natural products, and so much more! Artsolutely invites visitors into a warm and relaxed atmosphere where they can leisurely take in the beauty of local art and shop for those they love.
This will be my third year as an artist at Artsolutely and I am excited to have some new offerings available (wooden ornaments, new cards, original paintings, prints…) Stay tuned for more details!

Art Showing at Bliss Bakery’s Peachland Location
Come and see a few of my paintings in person in Peachland! Select original paintings will be available for purchase and to view at Bliss Bakery’s original location in Peachland, BC. Enjoy a bite to eat, or a treat with your coffee, right on their lakeside patio on Okanagan Lake. Art and coffee and goodies? It doesn’t get much better than that!

OPUS Outdoor Painting Challenge
Come enjoy the beautiful waterfront park in Kelowna while 50 artists participate in an outdoor painting challenge, hosted by Opus Art Supplies. You’ll find them scattered along the walkway!
